AUA Elementary School is an innovative and unique model of educating children. We dreamt of a place where students can grow and thrive while learning and retaining through methods that reach their whole self.

We believe in making a difference in education and, through it, a difference in future generations on our planet. It is our intense aspiration to awaken the passion of learning in our students. AUA provides the desire to discover, opens children’s senses to their surroundings, and connects them to the world they live in.

At AUA, we feel the wind, we touch the sea, we taste the salt, and we open our eyes to the world. We give meaning to thinking. We teach our students to understand that they are a part of the universe, and the universe is a part of them.

We encourage our students to challenge the known and venture into the unknown. AUA expands our student’s limits, opens their minds, and keeps them in the present in order to enhance and grasp all that is in front of them.

AUA has a unique curriculum where the academic objectives are of the highest standards at the elementary level. Each academic area is developed with logic structure and offers the students the opportunity to apply their knowledge in real life experiences. We combine our academics with Economics, Entrepreneurship, Industry, Astronomy, Ecology, and World History.

AUA awakens creative thinking, spirit, and the eagerness to learn! AUA cultivates self-awareness, social and environmental consciousness, kindness, and courage! AUA propels academic excellence and builds students that are capable, motivated, and innovative!

Our campus is designed to meet the needs of our academic program. We have 6 specialty spaces designed to let our students learn and explore different knowledge areas;

Research room; full of resources to read, investigate and gather information.

Science Lab and Engineering Lab; allows students to explore, create and understand how our environment works.

Art Studio and Construction Workshop; equipped with tools and materials that allows students to create master pieces and build new projects.

Planet Earth World Studio; created to wrap our students in rich world history and geography. They will create learning projects using technology such a video and radio, and will represent their knowledge by performing scenes in the studio stage.

Entrepreneurship Lab; equipped with a garden to grow fruits and vegetables, a tree nursery to take care of and a kitchen to prepare food products. A space designed to let our students make their ideas come to life. This lab works together with AUA’s coffeeshop which will be loaded with products made by our students and also operated by them. Children will manage customer service, handle inventories, order supplies, make and receive payments and more.

Genius Classrooms; a space to solidify everything learned and blend it with specific academic skills such as math, writing and language arts.

At AUA, our students are not just students, we do not stop at learning, we take it one step forward. We create real life attempts and scenarios that tests their critical and creative thinking as well as problem solution. How? The children are a big part of how the school runs, they will be given the opportunity to be in charge of managing office

tasks, uniform sales, the management of the AUA’s coffee shop, customer service and much more. They will work besides the teachers not behind, they will take valuable decisions and their suggestions and ideas will matter. AUA combines real life and learning into one.

AUA’s curriculum inspires and motivates students to be good human beings, to give their all and to look for each child’s best ability. By teaching through a meaningful way the importance of being Kind and Cool, we foster and create “Good Heart Citizens”.

We also create ecology awareness with our Planet Patrol eco-curriculum that generates awareness in children and young adults on a variety of important topics that are currently occurring in our wonderful planet.

This dive into knowledge is done through engaging activities, events, outreach programs in other schools, and community/family involvement. We seek to mold future generations to be conscious, kind, and compassionate.

These important values reach house holds, families, friends, and then multiply creating a wonderful future for our home. In this way we create patrols to take care of our planet and community!
